At Lake Mac Psychology, we provide in-person, in-nature, walk & talk, and telehealth services across Lake Macquarie and Newcastle, including telehealth outreach services supporting people in rural and remote areas.
Our principal clinical psychologist, Karen Bell-Weinberg, is deeply committed to working collaboratively with clients. This commitment and her passion for providing a warm and supportive therapeutic space ensure a personalised and client-focused approach that values each individual's input and involvement in their treatment plan.
Karen has experience providing individual and group therapy across clinical modalities and participates actively within multidiscipline mental health teams. She has masters degrees in Clinical Psychology, Human Resources and Industrial Relations, and published peer-reviewed research. She is a Member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association (ACPA), the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the APS Disaster Response Network (DRN), and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
We also understand that individuals have diverse needs and are registered to provide a wide range of services, including: Medicare, Worker's Compensation, CTP, First Responders, DVA, Victims Services, and NDIS (who are self or plan-managed). Our service extends to organisational support to assist employees, teams, and leaders overcome barriers and reach their optimal potential.
